British Grand Prix ticket sales up on 2005With just under four weeks to go for Silverstone’s British Grand Prix early booking offer, circuit bosses are urging fans to make the most of this opportunity to purchase tickets for the UK’s premier motorsport event – the British Grand Prix (9 to 11 June 2006) – at a reduced rate.
Silverstone has confirmed that ticket sales for the British Grand Prix are up on this time last year, but Richard Phillips, Managing Director of Silverstone Circuits Limited, is keen to remind fans wishing to take advantage of the early booking offer to do so before it ends on 31 January.
“Our Early Booking Offer provides fans with the opportunity to buy tickets for all three days of the British Grand Prix at a considerably reduced rate - up to 25% off in some cases," Phillips commented. "Ticket sales are up on January 2005, and we are delighted with the early support from fans. The early booking offer maintains our commitment to provide value for spectators and, with just four weeks left, we hope as many people as possible make the most of the fantastic savings on offer.”
The early booking offer was a major feature of Silverstone’s pricing strategy in 2004 and 2005, and, following its popularity, has been continued in 2006. Three day tickets for this year’s British Grand Prix are available from £99 for adults.
