RB2 will not become a winner overnight
Norbert Haug is not concerned that Red Bull`s Formula One racer may turn into a McLaren-style winner.

Mercedes` F1 engine chief referred to the fact that long time McLaren technical director and designer Adrian Newey has switched to the rival camp.

But Haug said Newey will not transform Red Bull`s new RB2 contender into a winner overnight.

"Our car was a group effort of the entire technical team,” Haug told the Stuttgarter Zeitung paper. “It is not Adrian`s car that he drew with his hand alone, but a product of McLaren Mercedes.”

Haug does however admit that Newey is likely to bring some McLaren influence to Milton-Keynes based Red Bull in 2006.
