Gilbert-Scott expects Sato to raceNew F1 team Super Aguri has vowed to announce its inaugural driver line-up `soon`.
With Honda refugee Takuma Sato almost certain to get the nod, further hints about the Japanese`s team-mate might be given at the first real test at Barcelona later this month (21-23 February), and even before at a shakedown of the reworked 2002 Arrows on 14 February.
"I`d be absolutely amazed if it doesn`t happen," Sato`s manager, Andrew Gilbert-Scott, told Reuters when asked about his charge`s seat.
The Japanese team, based at Arrows` former Leafield base in England and to initially use the defunct team`s 2002 car, also revealed that Peter McCool - a former Reynard man - was designing the brand new SA06 Super Aguri racer.
"They are going to struggle big time to start with," thinks Johnny Herbert, sporting relations manager for Aguri`s rival, MF1 Racing.
