Jerez - Thursday - TestingDriving a McLaren MP4-20 with a Mercedes V10 engine, Pedro de la Rosa achieved the fastest time during today’s testing session at Jerez.
The McLaren test driver is followed by Giancarlo Fisichella and Mark Webber, second and third quickest on the time sheets.
Toro Rosso’s Vitantonio Liuzzi drove the new STR01 for the first time. The new car stopped on the track once because of an electrical problem.
Christijan Albers and Tiago Monteiro had to share the only M16 available, the two men still managed a combined total of over 150 laps.
