At Kemble airportThe Super Aguri SA05 made a its first on-track appearance at Kemble airport in Gloucestershire, Great Britain.
According to Autosport, the team arrived with two trucks, one containing the car and the other – with Honda livery – carrying a supply of engines.
The car – which is based on the 2002 Arrows A23 – was driven by Takuma Sato and showed a white, sponsor-free livery.
This short shakedown session will be followed by the car’s first serious test next week in Barcelona, from 21-23 February. The team’s first in-house designed car, the SA06 is expected to debut later during the 2006 season, probably in time for the European events.
Even if Takuma Sato was driving the car, Super Aguri as yet to confirm their driver line-up for the 2006 season.
