Today`s schedule was centred on tyre testing and set-up work for both drivers.
Felipe Massa, at the wheel of an F2004, fitted with a regulated power version of the V10 engine completed 90 laps, the quickest in 1`30"578. Driving a 248 F1, Michael Schumacher did most of his running only in the last couple of hours of the day, completing a total of 23 laps, the quickest in 1`32"909.
Testing continues at this circuit tomorrow, with Michael Schumacher on track.
