Villeneuve and Kubica testing at Imola
The BMW Sauber team were not not able to carry out their testing programme as scheduled today at Imola, due to the bad weather and track conditions.
Therefore, the team concentrated on start practices and system checks with Jacques Villeneuve and Robert Kubica. To take advantage of the rainy weather conditions both pilots ran wet and intermediate tyre comparisons for Michelin.
According to the weather forecast good weather and track conditions are expected for tomorrow, which will enable the team to evaluate Michelin dry tyres. It will also focus on the assessment of aerodynamic parts. Cooling system tests are also scheduled.
