Barcelona - Thursday - TestingThe top three drivers in today’s testing session at the Circuit de Catalunya set impressive lap times on the Spanish track.
Jenson Button finished the day with the quickest time, only a few hundreds of a second ahead of the Renault drivers. These three men’s performances are only four tenths of a second from the track record held by Button since 7 April 2004: 1’13”552.
Takuma Sato made noticeable progress at the wheel of the SA05, although his best lap is still more than two and a half seconds slower than the MF1 driver’s pace.
