Former Minardi owner missing the sportPaul Stoddart says he `enormously` regrets quitting Formula One.
The 51-year-old entrepreneur sold Minardi to Red Bull last year, setting up full time in Australia with his new OzJet airline.
But, with $10m in losses and often just one or two passengers for his three chequered-flag liveried Boeing 737 jets, Stoddart announced on Monday that he had decided to shut it down.
“Absolutely,`` he told the ABC`s Lateline programme in Sydney. “I wish I had not started an airline and I wish I had stayed in Formula One. Absolutely.”
