Badoer and Massa conduct Bridgestone tyre testsFerrari were back on the testing trail again today at Vallelunga in what is the team`s second day of running this week.
The programme for the day centred on Bridgestone tyre development, carried out by Felipe Massa at the wheel of an F2004 and Luca Badoer driving an F2005.
Bridgestone of course will be preparing for tyres that do not have to last the entire race distance in 2006 as recent rule changes revealed that tyre changes will be allowed again next year.
Badoer completed 70 laps with a best time of 1:14.901s while Massa completed 60 laps with a best time of 1:15.311s.
Ferrari did not detail whether the F2004 was powered by the V8 engine as was the case last week, or the 2005-specification V10 powerplant.
Last Thursday Massa recorded a 1.13.007s best at the 4.085KM circuit. Testing continues at this circuit tomorrow, once again with Badoer and Massa.
