Jacques Villeneuve begun his carrer in the Italian Formula Three series from 1989 until 1991. After that Jacques competed in the Japanese Formula Three.
In 1993 Villeneuve has moved in the North American Toyota Atlantic series.
2 years, in 1994 and 1995 Jacques Villeneuve competed in IndyCar.
In 1996 Jacques becamo into Formula One. He droved for Williams between 1996 and 1999. But in 1997, only on the second F1 season for Jacques, he became F1 World Champion.
In 1999 Villeneuve moved at BAR Honda, a new team with great hopes.
He didn't get any point in that season.
In 2004 Jacques droved only 3 races for Renault F1 Team.
In 2005 Villeneuve came back in Formula One, at Sauber F1 Team. He scored 9 points and finished in the 14th place.
In 2006 Villeneuve drives for BMW Sauber.
