But Lai is already fast
Last Official test session for 125cc teams in Jerez, scene of the first Grand Prix scheduled for the end of March.
Honda teams had some difficulties in the engine set up, due to the delay in the delivery of the kit by Honda. Valsir Seedorf Racing, with Fabrizio Lai, got a good time, eleventh of Tuesday.

Now the team returns home and mechanics will make the most of the fifteen days to become competitive for the first race.

Fabrizio Lai (1`48.1) said : "I`m in very good form and I`m fast: the new chassis and suspensions feel good and convinced me. It is what I need: last year the chassis was too rigid and it didn`t lend itself to my style. Now we have to work on engine to gain more power: then I can stay with the leading group and try to win the races… I`m very confident in my technical chief!"

Michele Conti (1`51.3) added : "Jerez is a very difficult track for my style: I need to learn to release the clutch as Fabrizio (he is the best in the curves!). Yesterday I crashed out and I couldn`t improve my time because I lost concentration on the set up of the bike."
