“Now I`m starting to build up a good feeling”250cc Ticinohosting Campetella Racing team`s rider Chaz Davies, will start tomorrow`s first GP of the season from 4th row of the grid. Chaz, who was 23rd yesterday, has managed to cut-off over 2` from his QP1 hence ended today`s qualifier in 16th at 1`46.194.
No race tomorrow for his team-mate Taro Sekiguchi who has crashed out in yesterday`s official practice and broke the ball of his right femur and therefore has been forced to postpone his Championship` kick-off for a few races.
Chaz Davies (16th, 1`46.194): "I`m happy about today`s result because we`ve finally sorted the problems we experienced at the tests. Now I`m starting to build up a good feeling with the bike and tomorrow I`ll be happy to finish the race within the point-zone. This circuit has never been one of my favourites but I hope to take a good start and do a good race."
In tomorrow`s first GP of the season, 125cc Ticinohosting Campetella Racing team riders will start from 4th and 10th row of the grid. Andrea Iannone, who has ended today`s qualifier in 16th place at 1`48.646, has managed to cut off over 1 second off yesterday`s session thus managing to move up 1 row on the starting grid.
His team-mate Simone Grotzkyj Giorgi albeit having improved his provisional lap-time of 1.2 seconds has slipped in 38th place with 1`51.782 thus will start tomorrow`s GP from 10th row.
Andrea Iannone (16th, 1`48.646): "I`m happy with the bike although I would have liked to be a little further up on the grid.
I tried my hardest but there are a lot of good riders on the track. Anyway, tomorrow I hope to improve even more and to do a good race."
Simone Grotzkyj Giorgi (38th, 1`51.782): "We are miles away. I can`t find a good feeling with my bike maybe because I still haven`t done enough kilometres on it. Let`s see how it goes tomorrow but I`m not really confident for the race."
