After a crash in the warm-up session
Kawasaki`s Randy de Puniet crashed out of the morning warm up session at Jerez, but the 25-year-old Frenchman still raced in this afternoon`s Spanish Grand Prix, after receiving treatment for a bruised and swollen right hand in the Clinica Mobile.

Towards the end of warm up De Puniet was highsided from his Ninja ZX- RR at turn seven and landed heavily on his right hand.

Staff at the Clinica Mobile quickly confirmed that the hand was not fractured, and de Puniet returned to the medical centre for further treatment shortly before the start of today`s 27 lap Spanish Grand Prix.
