Senegal`s Motorsports Federation and the rally organisation have been informed by the local police of KAFFRINE that an accident occurred on road RN1 late this morning.

On this itinerary used by the assistance vehicles between Tambacounda and Dakar, at Km 200, an accident involving an assistance truck cost the life of a 12-year-old boy.

An enquiry by the local police on the circumstances of the accident was started, led by Police Chief DIOP, commander of the brigade.
