Discussing the Irish WRC bid
A Rally Ireland delegation travelled to Paris last week, to meet with the FIA Rallies Commission President, Jacques Regis, to discuss the Irish World Rally Championship bid.
The Rally Ireland team of Promoters Sean O`Connor and Ronan Morgan and Marketing Manager Gavin McAllister were joined by Motorsport Ireland`s executive manager, Alex Sinclair on the trip.
“It was good to meet with President Regis and tell him our story," said Alex Sinclair. "The meeting was very constructive and we hope he can attend our event in March this year to see what we can offer the WRC."

Following the meeting, Sinclair presented Regis with a replica of the ‘Hands across the Divide` statue which is located in Derry. This trophy is also presented to the winners of Rally Ireland.
