Sweden Rally 2006: Atolye Kazaz - Leg 1
Team Red Devil Atolye Kazaz made a good start on its 2006 season debut in Sweden with Kristian Sohlberg at the wheel of Subaru Impreza S10 world rally car.
Sohlberg and Lindstöm pair started their first event of the season nineteenth just to come home as the leading Subaru WRC of the day in 8th place. Team Red Devil Atolye Kazaz duo lost time as there were some studs missing on the tyres on stage 4.

“Stage 3 was really good setting the 5th fastest time. Midway through stage 4 we lost half of the studs, basically all the grip. It was a big fight just to get to the end of the stage. We lost maybe 15 or 20 seconds. The car is good, we are cautious not pushing too hard."

“I`m very pleased with Kristian today. The plan was to have a clean run today, no mistakes and that`s what he did. I`m happy to see that he did take the tricky places with care and did not push %100 from the start. The rally ends on Sunday and wise driving will help to have a good result on this event.”

Derek Dauncey was missing from his major event with Atolye Kazaz, unfortunately he was called back home on way to Sweden, due to a family illness.
