At the wheel of a Ford Fiesta Super 1600Estonian Jaan Mölder and Germany`s Katrin Becker finished Uddeholm Swedish Rally 10th in in JWRC and 42nd overall.
The Atolye Kazaz Ford Fiesta Super 1600 crew encountered a couple of problems during the event. On the second day of the rally, the crew had a 20-second penalty after leaving the service late due to a gearbox change.
Swedish Rally has been a learning event for the pair, as it was their first ever JWRC rally together. They have started the rally only to come to the finish in Karlstad and get used to their new car.
The event was totally new for Katrin Becker, her first ever snow rally. Both were really happy with the result, hoping to finish in a better position in Argentina.

“In the re-launch year of Ford Fiesta Super 1600, Atolye Kazaz has been given an important task to run the car in the highly competitive Junior World Rally Championship, with cooperation of M-Sport. In our first rally, apart from some hick-ups, I believe the driver and the car has managed to run through all the stages which was our main target.
“We know that we have a long route in front of us, but with the helps of M-Sport management, we will overcome all the issues and make the car one of the most valuable car in the championship. So we can achieve the ladder system that Ford is known in motorsport. Our next event is Argentina and I`m sure we will have enough time to know the car better and get our driver more confident with the car performance.”
