Rally Norway : Shakedown
Daniel Carlsson is proving to be quick once again, setting the fastest time in the shakedown of Rally Norway at the wheel of his Mitsubishi Lancer.
”I think it will be a tough battle, not just between Henning and me. We won`t be able to get rid of Thomas Schie too easily,” mentioned Carlsson.

At the wheel of his Focus, Thomas Schie was just 2”1 slower than the Mitsubishi driver and clinched second place on the time sheets, followed by Mads Østberg (Subaru), Rune Dalsjø (Mitsubishi) and Patrik Flodin (Subaru) in that respective order.

Local favourite Henning Solberg was eleven seconds slower than Carlsson and had to settle for 13th place. However, Henning remains positive about his chances of winning the race.

“Don`t read too much into it,” said Solberg about his relatively modest result in the shakedown. “We only drove once and everything worked perfectly. It`s tomorrow that counts.”
