Rally Norway : Leg 1 - Summary
The first leg of Rally Norway ended after a dominating performance by Henning Solberg. The local star took control of the race from the start, clinching the stage victory in SS1.

Henning Solberg drove his Peugeot 307 WRC to another fastest stage time in SS3 and moved back into the lead of the race. The Norwegian driver set four consecutive stage wins after that to increase his lead to more than 50 seconds over Carlsson in second position.
"We won`t be beaten by a Swede on home turf. That would be totally unacceptable!" joked a very satisfied Solberg.

"It`s been perfect all day. We adjusted the diffs a bit after the second stage and that`s actually the only thing we have done with the car," added the race leader.

Mads Østberg lies in third position at the wheel of his Impreza, only four tenths of a second ahead of Group N leader Juha Salo, who is actually fourth overall.
