But Harri is still hesitating
After withdrawing from the Swedish Rally at the last moment – he was supposed to drive a Mitsubishi Lancer in that race - Harri Rovanpera could participate to all the European gravel events of the World Championship.
The Finn confirmed that he was negotiating with Red Bull Skoda but Rovanpera is also considering other options, especially that his main goal is to have a car with the potential of winning his home event, Rally Finland.

If Harri decides to join Red Bull Skoda, his season would start in Sardinia (May) and would include the Acropolis Rally, then Rally Finland, the Cyprus Rally, the Rally of Turkey and finally Rally GB at the beginning of December.

Red Bull Skoda are willing to offer Rovanpera a six-race programme and negotiations are on-going between the Finn and Red Bull Skoda`s manager, Armin Schwarz.

“I don`t have much interest to drive on ‘voluntary basis`. On the other hand, under the present circumstances if you want to drive, you will have to go and do it, even if you don`t get proper wages for it,” admitted Harri on his official website. “In the Skoda case, the ball is at their end of the field now and Sardinia is only in May, so we`ll just have to wait and see what happens; there`s plenty of time and anything may turn up,”
