Rally Mexico : SS 10 - 23.27 kmDerramadero is located about halfway between Leon and Guanajuato. This stage starts at an altitude of nearly 2400 metres but mostly goes downhill until the finish. The course is fast and includes high-speed jumps, tricky corners and a view of the Chichimequillas dam.
The duel between Petter Solberg and Sebastien Loeb was just as close in this stage. This time Seb got the upper hand by 1”5 over his opponent but it wasn`t enough to catch Solberg in the overall results. The two men are nearly 20 seconds ahead of the rest of the field in this stage...
Dani Sordo achieved his best result of the race by setting the third fastest time, three seconds better than Chris Atkinson`s performance in fourth position. Manfred Stohl accomplished another good stage time to clinch fifth place in SS10, 1”2 slower than Atkinson. The Austrian driver is third in the race standings, 26”8 in front of Sordo.
Toshi Arai is dominating the Production class. The Japanese driver is seventh overall and more than two minutes ahead of Nasser Al Attiyah, both men driving Subaru Imprezas.
