With Peter Solberg achieving the best time (2:21.3), being followed by Marcus Gronholm (2:22.0) and Harri Rovanpera (2:22.1), the shakedown, that took place on SS Magnisia (4,1 km in length), has finished for the FIA 1 and 2 drivers.

Sebastien Loeb (Citroën)
"Very nice stages. Not too rough, very smooth and fast."

Petter Solberg (Subaru)
"Everything is OK. No problem. We try to do a little better setup. Very nice stages, very interesting, every year getting better. Of course I am optimistic, I want to win."

Marcus Gronholm (Peugeot)
"The rally is very good as always. All new SS`s are very interesting, especially SS Koumaritsi at the second day. The idea of the SSS at the Olympic Stadium is very good. It will be exciting for the spectators although it will be exhausting for the drivers as it is far from Lamia."
