Finland : Peurunkaralli - FinishThe fourth round of the Finnish Rally Championship – the Peurunkaralli – took place last weekend in Laukaa, which is around 25 km North of Jyväskylä. Around 100 km of competitive distance were on the programme for the eleventh edition of the race.
Driving a Toyota Corolla WRC, Jari-Matti Latvala took the victory with a margin of nearly thirty seconds over his closest rival: Sebastian Lindholm. Winner of two stage victories, Lindholm had to settle for second place at the wheel of his Peugeot 206 WRC.
Latvala clinched seven stage wins to claim his third victory this season, after his successes at the Arctic Lapland Rally and the Vaakuna Rally last month.

Jarmo Mikkonen was on his way to a strong result until an accident put an end to his race in SS3. Jani Paasonen didn`t reach the finish line either, his Lancer stopped in the final stage because of a mechanical problem.
Ioannis Papadimitriou also retired in the very last stage, the Focus driver crashed and was not able to re-start.
