By launching a programme for new talented drivers
With its many years experience in world rallying and the experience and success acquired in the 2006 FIA Production Car World Rally Championship, Kome Sport decided to organize World Rally (WR) Kome 2006 in order to encourage the birth and the growth of new talented rally drivers.
The WR Kome 2006 will be disputed inside some selected races of the WRC 2006. The races will be decided after the FIA calendar publication.
The cars, all Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII Group N full spec. will be prepared by MRT of Mauro Nocentini and followed during the races by Kome Sport and MRT together.
The WR Kome 2006 will be composed by two rounds of four races each plus the final. There will be a prize money of approximately 2 million Euros. The participation fee is of 249,000 Euros for the whole season which include the participation in four events.
