Tour de Corse : Citroen Sport - ShakedownOnce again, the major concern on the event will come from the weather forecasts. During the recce, the drivers found wet roads while grey skies remained on Ajaccio last night.
Heavy showers fell overnight on the city and the neighbourhood. This morning a violent storm welcomed the competitors just before the shakedown start. Fortunately, the rain stopped but the 6,94 km stage of Capo di Feno remained wet.
As usual, the shakedown times simply gave a `trend` on the possible results and allowed the drivers to proceed to the final checks on the cars.
Sebastien Loeb completed three runs and tested a slightly different set-up as the original one on the second passage. The time sheet showed a fastest time for the World Champion (4 min. 22s) on his third run.
François Duval drove four times through the stage. His fastest time was of 4 min. 25,9s.
