Aki wants fourth place in the PCWRCThe last round of the PCWRC series is held in Australia next weekend. Aki Teiskonen has still high stakes as the competition is still very tight behind the leaders.
If Aki drives well, he can claim fourth position in the championship. Current fourth place holder, Xavi Pons, is only one point ahead Teiskonen and he will not drive in Australia. On the other hand there are four drivers within five points behind Teiskonen, but Aki isn`t going to just play it safe to keep them behind.
“I`ll go to Australia to get a top result and my aim is to leave other P-WRC drivers behind. If I drive off the road, then I`ll drop a few positions, but I`m satisfied only with the win,” Teiskonen says.
The speciality of the roads of Perth is round little stones (marbles) that make driving very challenging. Little slip off the rut means very likely driving off the road. Teiskonen doesn`t consider that as a problem for himself.
“No, on the contrary my way of driving suits here very well,” concluded a confident Teiskonen.
