Australia : Citroen Sport - Shakedown
The shakedown service park was settled like last year on the picnic area of Jacoby Park.
The 4-kilometre stage is actually the end of SS23 and 26; Helena South which will be run on Sunday for the final leg. This proves that this morning`s session was representative of the rally route.
Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena drove twice on their first run. After this, the dampers were changed on their Xsara. They could try different settings. During the next passages, Seb also fine tuned the suspension set-up.

After his first run, François Duval noticed both his right side tyres went off the rim and that the rear one was also punctured. After his mechanics changed the wheels, he had a clean run before he started working on his dampers set-up.

Sebastien Loeb explained: "The stage which is really fast was really slippery at the start. We found better grip on the following runs. Then the terrain became a bit rutted in some places, but my car was working perfectly and I had a great feeling with it. I set some good times when the road wasn`t really clean yet. That`s interesting as I`ll be first on the road tomorrow.”
