Loeb and Elena stick with crash helmet companyStilo, the Italian helmet manufacturer based in Treviolo, near Milan, is pleased to confirm the deal signed last year for Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena to use their helmets on the 2005 and 2006 FIA World Rally Championships.
The two-time World Champions have decided to remain faithful to the Stilo helmets that they used throughout the 2005 season, having appreciated their ease of use, comfort and sound quality. As well as helmets, they will also use Stilo headsets for road sections.
Sebastien Loeb will use both the Stilo WRC (Jet) model and the SR3 (full-face) model, depending on the type of event. Co-driver Daniel Elena will stick with the WRC model.
Stilo is equally pleased to confirm the renewal of a deal with the Mitsubishi Motors Motor Sports team, for the third consecutive year. All of Mitsubishi`s crews, in the WRC and Rally Raids (Paris-Dakar, as well as the other rounds of the championship) will use Stilo helmets, and their vehicles will be equipped with Stilo`s communications system.
