Mexico and Argentina pushing for exposure
Mexico and Argentina, the only American countries holding FIA World Rally Championship rounds, are working together to achieve the best world media exposure for their region.
The series is a unique opportunity for promoting these countries all over the world, and thus, the organizers have reached a cooperation agreement aimed at assuring the success of both events, by consolidating the continent`s position in the WRC.
Both organizations have been working on new ideas for the safety of their events, and they are trying to improve their tourism promotion. Also, efforts are under way along with their local governments, to have the rally roads in perfect conditions, so that sporting skills prevail over the reliability of cars.

Production World Rally Championship
Rally Mexico, to be held from March 3 -5, is the second round of the 2006 Production World Rally Championship Calendar, followed by Rally Argentina, on April 27 - 30.

The support category is of great importance for both hemispheres of the American continent, as the competing cars are identical to the road specification units, only improved in safety aspects. This makes the media exposure of such models interesting for the local car companies.

Automóvil Club Argentino and Rallymex have worked on an exceptional agreement with local sponsors, to contribute their support to the series. Thus, PWRC competitors who participate in both events will benefit from a special discount, as the sponsors will reimburse 50% of the entry fees for those drivers.
