In 1998 Alex Bengue was the winner of France`s Volant Rallye Jeunes. One year later Bengue made his debut in WRC, in rally Tour de Corse.
Alex Bengue competed few year in Franch championship and in 2003 he droved again in WRC on the same rally, Tour de Corse.
In 2004 Alex Bengue competed in 2 events in WRC with FFSA team. In Germany Alex cames on the 10th place, but in Tour de Corse he was needed to retire.
In 2005 Bengue finished in 6th place in Tour de Corse and on the 21th place overall.
