Harri Rovanpera debuted in Rally in 1989, in Finland. In 1993 Harri debuted in WRC at the wheel of an Opel Manta.
In 1995 Harri Rovanpera became Finnish Rally Champion.
In 1999 and 2000 with Seat Harri made a full season on WRC.
In 2001 Rovanpera goes to Peugeot. He finished on the 5th place overall. Harri droved for Peugeot until 2004. In 2005 he moved to Mitsubishi. Best result was in Australia, 2nd place.
At the end of the season Harri Rovanpera was on the 7th place.
